Game High Concept

My game is a fighting game between two people who are fighting for their own respective villages.  This is a simple iphone app that someone can pick up and play for a few minutes when they are bored.  Unlike most other fighting games it does not have the same level of depth and multiple characters that other games do but is only intended to kill some time.
The game should be created because there are few games out there that are as simple to play as Freedom Fighters.  This game is one of a limited selection of games that has no violence.  Most game out there include blood and gore.  This game will be a fun, action packed fighting game similar to Street Fighter 2.  The intended audience will be mostly children between the ages of 7 and 12.  However teenagers might also find interest in this game.  The graphics are very cartoon like and has the potential to become a cult classic.

Backstory and Concept

The main characters are Donald Bloomsworth, Katherine Helton, and James Shuttlesworth.  Donald is fighting for the freedom of Bloomsworth Village while Katherine is fighting for the freedom of Helton Village.  James is fighting for the freedom of SHuttlesworth Village.  All three of these villages are located in London, England.  They each are fighting for the freedom of their respect villages.  Years ago Donald, Katherine, and James were business partners and owned their own village.  Unfortunately they got into a squabble over a deal gone bad.  Donald, Katherine, and James left their business and decided to go their separate ways.  Each person decided to start running their own village.  While Donald/James was visiting Katherine’s village he was caught trying to swindle some of the residents of her village.  Angered, Katherine retaliated and so the game begins as the three duel for the freedom of their respective villages. There will be a best of 3 battles.  The first person to win 2 battles is the winner and has successfully protected their village.  The next best of 3 battles will take place in the loser’s village.  If the person defending their village loses they also loose freedom of their village.
Levels and Objectives
The first level and fight takes place at Helton Village in London, England at 1754.  The 2nd level takes place at either Bloomsworth Village or Shuttlesworth Village.  A 3rd level will take place in a neutral location if both character’s win one fight each.  The objective is for each character to defeat the other in a fight and protect their own village from being conquered.  Three players can be chosen from to fight.  The 2nd objective is to take over the opponents village.  Each character has specific powers.  If someone beats Katherine he will get a defense boost.  If someone beats Donald he/she will get a power boost.  James has a speed boost.  Boosts can be used in round 2 and 3.  This game has no obstacles.  In each level you get to fight.  Each person has weapons that they can use.  Donald uses a spear, Katherine uses a sword, and James uses an axe.
